Committee for Education Funding (CEF)
Founded in 1969, the Committee for Education Funding and its 80 member organizations have worked toward the common goal of achieving adequate federal support for our nation's education system. Nonpartisan and nonprofit, CEF is America's largest education coalition, reflecting the broad spectrum of the education community.
Library of Congress
The Library of Congress is the nation's oldest federal cultural institution and serves as the research arm of Congress. It is also the largest library in the world, with millions of books, recordings, photographs, maps and manuscripts in its collections.
THOMAS (Library of Congress)
THOMAS was launched in January of 1995, at the inception of the 104th Congress. The leadership of the 104th Congress directed the Library of Congress to make federal legislative information freely available to the public.
Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance
An independent committee providing expertise on student aid to Congress and the Secretary of Education for over 20 years.
