Veterans Upward Bound Survey
Recently, the U.S. Department of Education alerted COE that they will not notify VUB applicants of their status until after the current grants expire (August 30, 2012). The Department did state that programs will be allowed a no-cost 30 day extension.
COE anticipates that many staff will lose their jobs because of this and vital services for veterans to access college opportunity will be discontinued. This survey will be critical in helping COE ensure all programs are funded without disruption and help identify who our Congressional allies will be.
