Making the Most of Your First Months in Your New SSS Program
REGISTRATION IS OPEN
Whether you have a brand new Student Support Services project or you are a brand new staff member in an existing SSS project, this training is designed especially for you! Learn the history and purpose of SSS and lay the groundwork for recruiting and serving participants. Hear from experienced SSS staff as
they discuss best practices in service delivery and documentation as well as effective ways to evaluate and improve your project. You will also have an opportunity to learn about the various database options available to SSS projects and how they can be used to complete an annual performance report.
Finally, you will learn what costs are allowable for Student Support Services projects and how you can effectively manage your budget. This is the training opportunity that will provide a foundation for your new experience in TRIO!
