Professional Development

Working with our partners in the UK and the Netherlands, the Council has sponsored four programs to send TRIO directors overseas for professional development since 2002. Typically 10 days in length, the experience allows TRIO professionals to meet U.S. and international colleagues who share goals of improving access to higher education; to learn about other education systems, and to put knowledge about education access and public policy into an international context.

The next TRIO staff exchange is scheduled for 2009.
